1. Please make sure the surface of the object is clean before applying the film. If there are oil stains, organic solvents, low-molecular volatile objects, and chemical substances on the surface of the object, it will easily damage the cohesion of the OPP heat-sealing film adhesive, resulting in a difficult-to-tear film or adhesive layer residue.
2. Some OPP heat-sealing films do not have the function of anti-ultraviolet rays, so they cannot be used under long-term direct sunlight, and objects placed outdoors for a long time cannot be protected by such protective films.
3. Since plastic objects contain a variety of plasticizers, tougheners, release agents and other substances, certain tests should be carried out before use to confirm that there is no dissimilation reaction before they can be used in batches.
4. The protective film is not resistant to high temperature, so it cannot be pasted on high temperature objects above 150 °C
5. Pay attention to the stretchability and ductility of the protective film when using OPP heat-sealing film. Some protective films have weak stretchability, and if they are not used carefully, the service life of the protective film will be shortened.
6. Unsmooth object surface, or frosted or brushed surface will affect the adhesion effect of OPP heat sealing film due to its roughness. Therefore, a suitable protective film should be selected according to different materials. If conditions permit, the protective film can be attached after a second polishing.
7. For items of aluminum profile type, low-viscosity products should be used after polishing. The oxidized surface must ensure that there are no holes or leaks before the film can be pasted, otherwise residues will easily appear.
